Nolan graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law, completing concentrations in wealth management and tax law. During law school, he studied abroad at Cambridge University in England and earned second place in the American Bar Association’s national Law Student Tax Challenge, competing against teams from 74 law schools nationwide.

Before law school, Nolan graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a degree in accounting and minors in finance and human resource management, while also playing collegiate football. He passed the CPA exams shortly after graduation and worked as a tax associate at FORVIS, LLP (formerly BKD) for 2 years before returning back to law school.

Raised on his family’s farm near DuBois, Nebraska, Nolan has a deep appreciation for agriculture and its importance to the region. He continues to manage a growing cattle operation and crop production, and he incorporates that experience into his work with farm and ag law clients.

Outside the office, you will find Nolan making the most of his time outdoors. He enjoys hunting in the fall, hiking and golfing in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, and squeezing in scuba diving trips when he can—and of course, Husker football and volleyball.
